Pantyhose are definitely NOT a style statement, especially in the summer, and the only time we really cared about not being tanned was when we needed some color on our legs.
How to Love Your (Pale) Legs Even With a Dress:
These products stay on your body (not your clothes). For best results, apply one thin layer at a time. The nature of the products are such that if one layer doesn’t do it, two definitely will. Allow each layer to dry before applying the next one, and let your legs dry well before putting your clothes on. Dry time is only a few minutes. Pick a shade that’s just slightly darker than your skin tone. Resist the urge to go for a dark shade if your legs are pale. The coverage is so smooth and flawless that even legs that aren’t super dark will look amazing. Blend around the bony parts like ankles and knees.
These are also waterproof. Wash off with soap and water, preferably in the shower where you can rinse liberally.
1. If you’ve got anything to hide, Smart Cover Makeup is your answer. The leg formula covers varicose veins and brown spots.
2. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. The Light Glow shade worked well, as the shades got darker they got more orange, so err on the side of lighter.
3. Aero Mineral Makeup Mist. We found this in our local Duane Reade. If you aren’t so lucky, you can order it here. They offer a big range of shades including very light.
