This Information Revolution, like the Industrial Revolution before, forces change even on those “in touch.”
Old computer programs are not compatible with the new technology, which must be updated every few years, while even the manner in which we communicate continually changes (phone calls to voice messages to emails to texting to twitter to?).
So, plan on being a life-long learner.

Interesting thought. It’s true that resisting change ages you. I feel she is missing out on opportunities. I see this happening a lot of well with both my parents and parents in law. I for one am embracing change and dive into it head on. Let’s hope I will continue to do so until I’m 90!

I’m surprised by Mary Ellen Mark’s response. I’ve admired her work, as a photographer myself. She doesn’t have a digital camera or work on a computer? Part of me misses the whole darkroom, chemical, and enlarging/printing craftsmanship , but once I went digital there was no going back.

Resisting change really is aging! Thanks for the observation!

Their clothes don’t fit me. Too big. I wear a size 2. Love some of their pieces, though.
