My store was created as an outlet for my lifelong insatiable appetite for beads baubles and bodacious jewels.
I’ve been in the fashion industry for over 25 years but my love of jewelry goes back a lot farther than that. For years I’ve been making crazy junkets to vintage stores and remote flea markets, where I made deals on dusty shoe boxes filled with hidden treasures.
My habit required me to take various storage units over the years. My collection evolved as I became fascinated with talismans, amulets, good luck charms, crystals, gemstones, and items used by people in meaningful ways to find serenity, strength, comfort and power.
Recently, I decided to share the wealth and offer my friends some of this loot. After all, what good are lovely things when they’re all packed away in a dusty attic?
I designed Flashionista Karma Gems using items of personal importance and meaning from my personal stash. Each beautiful piece contains at least one component meant to draw good health, long life, love, luck, peace, and/or abundance to the wearer. Many of the components are “found” in one way or another. I’m always on the hunt! It’s what makes Flashionista Karma Gems special.
Jewelry doesn’t have to be expensive, but it should be meaningful.
In addition to Flashionista Karma Jewels, I’ve also added a few other carefully selected designers to my online store. All the lines complement one another and it gives you more choices.
New collections will be added all the time. I cover a lot of territory in my search for jewels. At Flashionista.com, our goal is to offer things you won’t find in just any store.

She’s still here! She’s embracing change and taking Flashionista.com to a new level. You can keep up with Flashionista’s advice on the blog. Great personal style never goes out of fashion. You just have to keep defining, refining, and keeping it relevant, especially if you’re over 40.
